The Queen of the Faeries from Beyaz Fare. By Chandra Brooks.

The Queen Of The Faeries is one of the greater powers within The Kingdom.  She speaks for the natural world, the gods and “the heavens”.  Hers is the voice of reason.  Her reason is mirrored by that of The People Of The Kingdom.  She has the power to transform matter.  She is the Alchemist who can turn copper into gold, but she needs something to work with.  The Queen Of The Faeries introduces the reader to the laws and order of nature, humanity and politics.  Like The King and The Queen, The Queen Of The Faeries is nobility, but because of her talents, she is more powerful than the other two monarchs.  She has the ability to punish monarchs and their offspring.  She can grant wishes, but there is always more to a wish than the petitioner realizes and this is part of her power.  This image of The Queen Of The Faeries amongst here dominions in her forest dwelling is based on daVinci’s Angels.
